I found Blue Sky in Washington Checkbook, and selected them because they have the ability to perform a variety of jobs - masonry, drainage, stump grinding, etc.  Several different crews came on different days and every single  person was polite and professional.  They performed every task as expected.  I am very pleased.

We used Blue Sky to create some flower beds, install drainage/erosion control, replace large stepping stones, and install rock/mulch bordering in our backyard and they did a great job! From start to finish, they were easily to work with, very responsive and always willing to listen to our thoughts and concerns during the project.  We plan to use them again for some additional work to improve grass in our yard later this Spring.

I must say I am very happy with the results of the work done at my home. I love the new stone steps off my kitchen and garage, and the reset slate walkway in the front looks better than when it was originally installed years ago. The crew did a very meticulous job; I was especially impressed with foreman Jeff Pierce. He was very methodical in his approach to the design and problem solving, as well.

They were professional, arrived on-time, and were upfront about pricing.  Daniel kept me up-to-date on the progress and any issues with starting the project.  Overall, I would recommend them for any landscaping work that they provide and look forward to using them again in the future.

I was extremely pleased with the professional and beautiful work performed by the Blue Sky team. The new patio they installed has completely transformed the appearance of this part of the property. The team installed permeable pavers, providing rapid drainage of rainwater near the house. Over the past month, the patio has performed precisely as promised. Blue Sky is very attentive and very good at growing grass and listening to the clients needs. I explained my bad experience with another company and they have been the opposite. Within a very short window of time our grass has gone from yellow and some weeds to greener and looking healthier already.

Nathaniel at Blue Sky has been a tremendous help! Our snow removal contractor was a no-show during the early January 2025 snow storms and the team quickly got a crew to our buildings to clear out the snow. The team is highly communicative, personable, and professional! Being property managers, our tenant/customers' safety is paramount. Blue Sky made sure our streets and walkways were clear, and we will certainly be using them in the future!

Blue Sky Landscaping is our go to for all of our lawn care needs. We started using them in 2014 to mow our lawn and have since expanded to their full suite of lawn services - weed treatment, hedge trimming, mulch, aeration, reseeding and mosquito and spotted lantern fly treatment (I am sure I am missing some).

Blue Sky Landscaping did a drainage project for us. We were getting a lot of water collecting at the corner of our garage and we were concerned with the potential impact on foundations. Blue Sky gave us a couple of alternate design suggestions. We decided on one which their team executed very well. We had a storm with heavy rain the next day and the new drain worked perfectly. I chose Blue Sky Landscaping from a number of other landscaping companies. Blue Sky offered aeration alone for a good price without hard selling the many other lawn services that they offer. The men that did did the work were polite and easy to speak to, explaining what they were doing, and went beyond my expectations, going over the lawn, getting every corner, and more than once, putting many holes in the lawn which was what I wanted. Daniel and team designed and installed trees, shrubs, grasses and perennials along the long exposed end of our townhouse. Daniel developed a natural yet classic design that should be low maintenance and allow for augmentation with annuals if we wish. As a part of the project, Daniel developed the documentation needed to obtain our HOA approval. I would be happy to work with him and Blue Sky in the future.

Had trees, a mulch bed, drainage and irrigation installed by Blue Sky. Project lead Daniel was super responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful. Awesome! Blue Sky did an outstanding job removing our nasty old shrubs in front and installing flat stone walls for new beds and installed many different colorful flowering plants. A lot of work to remove those shrubs and shape all those flat stones to put in place. Also installed underground drainage system for the downspouts on each edge of the house. Will continue to use their many available services.
